Located in Tacoma, Washington, Bright Smile Dental provides state-of-the-art facility for the highest quality dental care available. Their office meets and surpasses all OSHA and CDC standards. It's one of their top priorities to protect the well-being of their valued patients. Dr. De La Paz wanted his online visitors to navigate, figure out which insurance he accepts, and find his practice with ease.

Dr.De La Paz Website Request:

• Reduce navigation tiers from 4 t0 2.

• Add insurance logo they accept.

• Add Google Maps.

• Add staff photos and bios.


Reduced Navigation


The first thing I tackled was the navigation bar. The website had up to 4 levels of navigation. Based on general website best practices, online visitors don't click more than 2 levles into the website. Therefore, I combined a few web pages that are relevant and shortened the levels from four to two.



Appointment Button

The next thing I added was the book an appointment button. There was no clear call to action for visitors to do. Placing a big, colorful button grabs the visitors attention and guides them to the booking page.


Simplifying the Services Menu

After the button, I worked on the services menu by compling the information into one accordian menus. Doing this makes it easy for the visitor to easily read each service without visualy overwhelming them.


Insurance Logos

Adding the insurance logos really help Dr. De La Paz. Visitors can quickly scroll through the section before deciding to move forward to connect with Bright Smile Dental. It also eliminated frequent calls about insurance information and streamlined lead calls.


Google Maps

Adding Google Maps was another must-have website feature for businesses. Online visitors need to know where Bright Smile Dental is located. Dr. De La Paz really like this feature.


Staff Photos and Bios

Adding the staff photos and bios allows visitors to get the know the team and their professional goals. Dr. De La Paz found that first time patiences are often nervous because they don't know anyone and the bios allows visitors to know who will serve them.
